[ Report ] SOUND×VISION 2004
@代官山UNIT

初代官山UNIT。7時前には代官山着いてて
場所確認兼ねて視察しに行ったらもう入れるらしい。
貧乏社会人は慌ててフレッシュネスバーガーで
腹を満たしてから急いで参加。
B1のUNICEにてワークショップが始まってたらしい。
俺が見たのは高木正勝のAdobeのソフト紹介のラスト。
と、SONYのハイビジョン取れるビデオカメラと
Pioneer DV のワークショップ。
どれも知らない人向けっぽくてDVJなんかは既知の
情報ばかりでそこまで面白くなかった、ていうか
プレゼンの素材にドキュメンタリー映画は合わないｗ
けど、ビデオカメラは凄かった。
会場の後ろの非常口のライトの色を青から赤に変えて
撮影できて、しかもその周りをモノクロとかに出来て
コマ数をシネマ風の秒間24コマにしたり。
値段は･･･DVJと同じく40万ｗ
20:00を過ぎてもUNITの方（ライブの方）は始まらず。
30分遅れでスタートしたものの、SOUND×VISIONの
DVDを垂れ流してるだけなので、ワークショップと
フロアを行ったり来たり。ていうか、この感覚が既に良い。
新生リキッドルームっぽいね。カフェあるし。
あと、フロアにみんな座り込んでて、去年の2月にやってた
写真美術館の70本PV垂れ流しを思い出した。
22:00頃から黒川良一の音響系ライブ。VJをスクリーンでなく
ライブエリアいっぱいに映し出してて、それだけでカッコいい。
その後DJ UPPERCUT×木村和史のHIPHOPなDJが。
DVJを使ったりしてた。スクラッチに映像が合うって
やっぱちょっといいね。
こちらの方とちょっとお会いしたと思ったら
すぐにプリンストンガが始まる。
最初はゆるーくネタをループさせてただけだけど
TASAKAのDJが始まるとかなり興奮！
プリンストンガwithTASAKAの手にかかれば
ダチョウ倶楽部の「ワキアイアイ」だって
マイケルジャクソンだって
「たまちゃーん」て叫んでる女の子だって
バファリンや森永のCMだって
ビットイ～ンだって
クイズダービーだって
キックの音に乗ってしまう。凄いよマジで。
しかも CAVE / Carnival をクイズダービーの
「更に倍！」の倍！で再現しててかなり笑えた。
「それではいきましょー せーの どん！」のどん！で
曲を再開させたり。
正直、ああいうVJって全部 HEXSTATIC の Timberであり
Salvador であって、割とやり尽くされた感があったんだけど
笑いやネタと組み合わせてて、かなり面白かった。
でも、CMMさんによると去年の7hoursとフライヤーTVの
使い回しらしい･･･
それにしても、ほんとあのVJはどうやってるんだろ？
時にDVJで映像をスクラッチしてるようにも見えるんだけど
クイズダービーとか完璧なタイミングで映像と音を
あわせてるもんなあ。
パードン木村×宇川直宏はかなり前衛的。
意味わかってなくて使ってるけど。
基本的にパードン木村が淡々と演奏（？）してる横で
宇川直宏がらくがき帳にマジックで波形等を
書きなぐっている様子をVJとして流す。
はたから見てると、なんかひどいｗ
勢いはあったけどね。
ていうか一番最初に書いたのが
「プリンストンガDEATH！」ってｗ
パードン木村が機材いじくりまわしてるとこ。
よく見えないけど左で宇川氏がらくがき帳に
マーカーで書きなぐってる
疲れてフロアで寝てしまい起きたら
撤収作業してた。おとなしくUNICE行けばよかったｗ
次回はUNICEで飯食ってみます。
ていうかUNITはいいぞ、ひとまず来月も
行く予定があるので楽しみ。休めるスペースが
しっかりと確保されてるっていいよね。
